Dr. Atchity is a writer-editor-public speaker-producer-literary manager, who built Atchity Entertainment International, Inc., to manage storytellers in all media (aeionline.com), and The Writer's Lifeline, Inc., (thewriterslifeline.com), to make storytellers "ready for prime-time."

Author of thirteen books, including A Writer's Time: A Guide to the Creative Process, from Vision through Revision (W. W. Norton), Writing Treatments That Sell (Holt), and How to Publish Your Novel (SquareBooks), Ken has produced over 20 films for television and theater, his most recent being Tim Allen's "Joe Somebody" and Angelina Jolie's "Life or Something Like It" (both for Twentieth Century Fox).  
With a B.A. from Georgetown, and after serving as Communications Engineer for AT&T Long Lines, Ken went on to serve as professor (and chairman) of comparative literature at Occidental College, Fulbright Professor of American Studies to the University of Bologna, adviser California Council for the Arts, founder and editor of the journal DreamWorks, and consultant to major corporations including the United States Postal Service, the Getty Museum, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Pasadena Unified School System. His management clients include Governor Jesse Ventura (two bestsellers), Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not! (Films set up at Paramount in co production with Alphaville -- "The Mummy", and The Learning Annex (a book series to be published by John Wiley).
